The summer transfer has not gone the best with us only signing two strikers Camilo Duran and record transfer fee Kasper Høgh. But we lost Maeda and Iheanacho so we needed two strikers. But now West Ham and Nottingham Forrest show interest in Engels so we need a midfielder. But now Martin O’Neill even comfirms it that Everton have shown interest in our Right Back Johnston. And they most likely will put a bid in for him. Everton will put in a bid for a fee for around 10 Million pounds . Which to be honest is just not worth it at all. Like maybe 20 Million pounds would be a nice fee. Some fans are even saying ” Is that for his left leg ?” .
I feel like all the players we let go turn out to be a big player like Virgil Van Dijk and Matt O’Reilly which obviously isn’t as big of as Van Dijk but still turned out to be good . And i just have a feeling that Johnston will turn out to be a big player as well as Engels . I hope the board has got a few players in mind if he does leave. Maybe just maybe if Johnston leaves to Everton Julian Araujo could be on the cards for that RB spot.
But sure Johnston’s Market Value is about 15 Million so i wouldn’t except that fee of 10 million .
