Celtic V St.Mirren

So Celtic had a lucky win V St.Mirren with a goal by The OX. I’ll give ratings as usual and I will do line up for next match and what to fix.

Ratings: Sinisalo 6.4- didn’t get the ball much but kept a clean sheet.

Scales 6.7-Got the ball at times but really didn’t see much of him.

Trusty 6.3- slipped up a few times but did passing a lot.

Tierney 7.2- He created big chances and did his job correctly.

Ralston 6.2- Passed to nowhere at times and didn’t get back and defend.

The OX 7.9- Scored a goal and an offside goal and skipped few a load of defenders.

Callum McGregor 7.4- Great at getting back the ball and had a few shots played well.

Mcowan 6.4- played a bit but really didn’t do anything but passing.

Engels 7.5- when he came on the whole team played better football and he got back defended and played his sock’s off.

Hatate 6.3- didn’t really see him on the ball at all.

Nygren 6.6- Thought he’d do better to be fair.

Cvancara 6.5- Missed big chances didn’t do anything again.

Iheanacho 6.8- Missed two chances but played good still he nearly scored he had that passion on him.

Daizen Meada 7- Used his pace and fought for that ball, put in good crosses.

Yang 6.7- Was a bit ghosted to be fair.

Yes my man of the match goes to: Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain. He played superb he scored 1 goal and an offside goal. He played brilliant but you know there is someone who has gotta be dropped and that person is Cvancara he can’t score he can’t get the ball and he always wraps his arms around the defender and goes down but he never gets a foul so stop doing it! But we were lucky to win that match to be honest.

If the OX plays like that more often he could be a big player for us. In that match he played very well he passed a lot, he did loads of skills, and scored a goal. But this match i think he thought to himself before the match ” Come on Alex try not to do too much fancy stuff ” and he did that well.

CELTIC 1 ST MIRREN 0: WIZARD OF OX STRIKES AGAIN | Celtic Quick News

Now if i were Martin O’Neill this is what I’d do. In training I’d make them do a small tight rondo and loads of passing drills. And do loads of stamina training. Because i noticed that when Celtic play from the 75-80th minute Celtic get sloppy and tired so that is why. And I would also make us do some drills that we pass up the pitch instead of always passing it backwards. And do some drills 15-20 minutes of just 1v1’s and loads of changes of direction drills aswell. that all in a 1 Hour or 1 hour 30 Minutes training repeat that over 1 and half months. And we’ll be better than ever.

And an alright tactic is the wingers cross it into the box to preferibly Cvancara and Cvancara header’s it because he’s so tall [ But only if Cvancara starts ]. I see Celtic are mostly just playing from Left and Right backs passing it up to the wingers and passing to midfield and most of the time passes back to the centre backs. But i don’t like that i would get it up to the wingers and cross it and if it is too hard we have the right or left winger free. And loads of shots from midfield and wingers. Most of the goals of the season for Celtic on their Official website is mostly from midfielders I like that. See the thing is with loads of our players is that is that they are scared to do the risky things like say Luke Mcowan he would just keep it safe and keep doing the easy passes, But what I think we need a player to do is do the brazilian flair passes like the creative passes and take the risks. Like that’s like The OX he would do the risky stuff and take the gamble and if it turns out good- We could score from the play, But if it goes wrong- It will look bad but just then high press and try and get the ball back.

That’s It, Hope you liked the post. MON THE HOOPS 🍀🍀🍀.
